The Worcester County Health Department will be offering a School Flu Vaccine Clinic at Buckingham Elementary on Tuesday, October 22nd.

It’s Fire Prevention Week and this year’s theme is “Smoke Alarms, Make them Work for You!”.
Smoke alarms save lives and reduce the risk of dying in a house fire by half! Ensure you have a functional smoke alarm on every floor of your home and in all sleeping areas, and remember to test them monthly.
We would like to thank the Berlin Fire Department for bringing their fire trucks and equipment on Friday for students to explore.

First, I want to apologize for any confusion or frustration you may have felt with the limited availability of slots for this first session of our BES before and afterschool programs. This was due to a miscommunication from the Central Office regarding available funding for these programs; however, we are working quickly to open more slots/offerings for your child(ren) during this session. Once we have finalized these options, we will communicate them to you as quickly as possible. Please reach out to me if you have any questions.

New students were inducted into their houses this morning at a schoolwide assembly! BES uses the Ron Clark Academy House System to help build character, relationships, and school spirit as part of PBIS (Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports)!
Students will remain in the same house through 4th grade and participate in friendly competitive activities throughout the year against the other houses!
The Judy Center Crew wants to see you on Monday, September 16th as we pop up to Bay Terrace Apartments for Something Cool Afterschool at 4:00!! Any students in the surrounding apartments complexes are also encouraged to join us!
