Buckingham Elementary is excited to host our first-ever Bucky's Gear Up Giveaway! We are collecting brand-new clothing for boys and girls so families can choose back-to-school outfits for their children before the new school year begins.

We are currently accepting donations of new clothing items in children’s sizes 4T–14/16, with our greatest need being sizes 7/8 through 14/16.

Needed items include:

National Night Out is TOMORROW, August 4, from 4:00–7:00 p.m. at Henry Park in Berlin! 🎉

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that strengthens police-community partnerships, encourages neighborly connections, and promotes neighborhood safety.

Nearly 15 Buckingham staff members will be there, and we can’t wait to see our Buckingham families for an evening of community, activities, and fun!

🎉 Our Back-to-School Bash is almost here!

Families are invited to sneak a peek at their child’s classroom from 2:00–3:00 p.m. Each family will have approximately 20 minutes to visit, with additional time available for families with children in multiple classrooms.

After visiting the classroom, join us outside for the Back-to-School Bash featuring:

🏰 Moon bounces
🌭 Hot dogs,
🎯 Yard games
🍧 Snow cones

***Snow cones will be free for BES students. Adults and other children may purchase their own.***

• 1 pack of dixie cups
• 1 roll of paper towels
• 1 large book bag/back-pack large enough to hold folders and school box WITHOUT wheels.
