We have some exciting news to share from our Spelling Bee Afterschool Club! After some impressive work, two of our 3rd-grade students, Tia Qiang and Empress McKay, have been named school finalists.
They will be competing at the Regional Spelling Bee at UMES on March 7th. During our upcoming club sessions, we will be focusing our efforts on helping Tia and Empress prepare for the competition.

In accordance with our virtual day learning plan, all three days will be exhausted prior to utilizing virtual learning.

Our schoolwide reading program begins on February 2 (see the attached reading calendar), so get ready for daily chapters, fun surprises, and family-friendly activities along the way.

Due to inclement weather conditions, Worcester County Public Schools will open one hour late on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Buses will operate accordingly. All school programs will begin following the one-hour delay.
