You may remember we sent home your student's password and login directions prior to our winter break as well as a Snow Day take home packet. 🍎 A-Z Adventure at Food Lion! Our PreK-4 students reached an exciting milestone in their literacy unit this week. After studying environmental print—the symbols, signs, and logos that surround us—they visited the Ocean Pines Food Lion to apply their knowledge.
Under the guidance of Ms. Wanda, students participated in an alphabet scavenger hunt and even received a hands-on demonstration of how to scan and bag groceries. This immersive experience helps our students recognize that reading happens everywhere, not just in books!
Special thanks to Ms. Wanda and the Ocean Pines Food Lion team for being such wonderful hosts!
