In February, we celebrate Black History Month. This month was created to bring attention to the many contributions of African Americans to United States history. We honor all Black people from all periods of U.S. history, from the enslaved people first brought from Africa in the early 17th century to African Americans living in the United States today. Join us in celebrating them and their important contributions to our history! #3RsBIS

Two-Dimensional Art students in Mrs. Perdue’s class at Berlin Intermediate deepened their understanding of creating and connecting by linking their artwork to the natural world. Inspired by Maryland artist Jen Aranyi, students created expressive landscape paintings that emphasized the element of space while strengthening their watercolor techniques and skills.
This project beautifully blended observation, creativity, and technical growth—showing how art can help students connect more deeply to their environment and to their own artistic voice. #WeAreWorcester #ArtsAreAliveInWorcester #BerlinIntermediate
