MCAP ELA begins tomorrow!

Reading for 15-30 minutes before bedtime helps your student unwind before bed. We will see everyone tomorrow at 7:35!

Friday our 5th and 6th grade Student Apple Vanguard groups had their last meetings of the school year. Students worked together to create how-to videos about many Apple skills for staff and students. They also created the website to house the videos. Students were surprised with t-shirts featuring the logo they created and voted on earlier this year. We wish our 6th grade SAV members good luck in middle school and look forward to working with the 5th grade group again next year. All students will have the opportunity to apply to be a part of Student Apple Vanguard at the beginning of next school year. #3RsBIS

Our Indigo Plant Dye Tapestry has found its new home in our main hallway!
This collaborative art piece was created by sixth grade students and staff with the guidance of artist Suzanne Herbert-Forton. During this project students explored cultural and scientific connections while using self-expression.
The project was funded by an artist in residence grant through Maryland State Arts Council that was obtained with the joint effort of Arts for Learning Maryland and the BIS Art Department. #3RsBIS #ArtsAliveInWorcester
