
Cheri Madsen is an American Paralympic wheelchair racing athlete. Madsen is a Native American from the Omaha tribe. She grew up in Nebraska. When she was three years old, she lost the use of her legs due to an unknown viral infection in her spine. She learned to race in her wheelchair and has won many medals in her sport!

Sean Sherman is an award-winning chef, educator, author, and activist. He was born in 1974 in South Dakota. He is a member of the Oglala Lakota Sioux tribe. Sean's personal mission is to revitalize Indigenous food systems and build awareness. He likes to highlight indigenous ingredients like bison, hand-harvested wild rice, cedar, and sumac.

Rose Marie "Tantoo" Cardinal is a Canadian actress. She was born on July 20, 1950 in Alberta, Canada. Tantoo is of Cree and Métis heritage. Her grandmother nicknamed her "Tantoo" after the bug spray they used while picking blueberries together! She has played many roles on TV and in film.

It's National Educational Assistants day! EA's do a little of everything in schools.
