📚✨ The Snow Hill High School Book Club had their first meeting this afternoon! Organized by Mrs. Kozlowski, teachers and students broke into small groups to read a biography or autobiography. Each page turned sparked profound discussions and enriches our understanding of the human experience. Huge thanks to The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore for sponsorship as well as our dedicated teachers and students who eagerly embraced the opportunity to delve into these captivating stories together. Through these narratives, we've learned about resilience, determination, and the power of the human spirit. Let's celebrate the transformative power of literature and the joy of shared exploration! 🎉📖 #BookClub #Inspiration

Biology students from SHHS toured Chesapeake College to explore heath care careers including LPN, RN, EMT, paramedic, radiology, phlebotomy, dental hygienist and surgical technicians. We toured their state of the art simulation labs from ambulance operations, accident simulations, hospital ward, apartment extractions, operating rooms, and other real-life scenarios and sitations that effectively train future health care professionals. Our tour guide Dave and community sponsor Damaris Borland were very knowledgeable and informative to give students a wide variety of career opportunities with education pathways from just 4 months to 2 year degrees and the current salaries for those positions. It was a really worthwhile day for our students.

Congrats to our Class of 2024 SHHS Athletic Hall of Fame! ❤️🩶
