🌞 Is there anything better than a warm summer day spent with good friends? Our Summer Academy students and staff have learned firsthand how special a day like this can be!
After planning and preparing a delicious picnic feast, we loaded up the bus and headed to the living shoreline at Assateague State Park. 🚌🌊 The students spent over 4 hours in the water, discovering some pretty amazing sea life while enjoying the relaxing, warm waters of the Bay. 🐠🏖️
After a delicious dinner filled with local fruits and veggies 🍉🥗, as well as hot dogs 🌭, we made our way to the ocean side of the park. The pictures 📸 are amazing, but they can’t fully capture the joy experienced by everyone on this trip!

🌞 Summer Academy spent the morning at Salisbury University 🏫 learning about the possibilities offered through post-secondary education 🎓. While exploring the campus and interacting with current SU undergraduates 👩🎓👨🎓, PHS students completed a scavenger hunt 🔍—identifying trees 🌳, various buildings 🏢, and counting dorms 🛏️. Bumping into a member of SU’s leadership team 🤝 was helpful in determining some of the more challenging questions ❓. It was a beautiful morning 🌤️ to begin learning about what could come after high school for our newest Pocomoke Warriors 💙💛!
